FAQs

I've answered my most commonly received questions from couples

What areas do you cover?

I am based in Suffolk, so most of my work comes from there and the surrounding areas of Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Kent. I also love to travel, so I'm more than happy to travel further afield and even abroad!

How long will you be with us on the day?

I believe that to tell the best story of your day, I need to be there for the majority of it! I offer full day coverage, which typically begins from two hours before the ceremony through to an hour after the first dance.

How will our films be delivered?

I currently use an online delivery service. Once your films are ready to watch, I will send across a link to a bespoke online gallery where you can view, download and share your films with friends and family.

What music do you use?

I like to use snippets of the ceremony and speeches audio in the majority of my films - for me it is important to find music which compliments this audio, this is why I source all of the music myself, instead of using copyrighted, popular music.

What equipment do you use?

I use small, compact mirrorless cameras to achieve my filmmaking style. Gone are the days of using big cameras to achieve cinematic results, instead my equipment is very similar to that of a photographer. I also use small, discreet audio recorders to capture high quality audio from your vows, readings and speeches.

How do we book?

After an initial call to provide some more information about my packages, I would send across a booking form containing the terms & conditions and also an invoice for the 25% non-refundable retainer used to secure the booking.

When will we receive our films?

The editing process is the most time consuming part of the job - numerous hours are spent making sure that your day is represented in the best way possible. I aim to deliver your films within 8 - 12 weeks of your wedding day.

Do you keep backups of our footage?

After each wedding, all of your footage and audio is safely stored onto three separate hard drives. If one hard drive becomes corrupted, then your footage is still secured on the other two hard drives.

Can you film both of us getting ready?

If you and your partner are getting ready at the same location, then I am usually able to cover both of your preparations. However, if you're getting ready at separate locations, then it may be worth considering a second videographer.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I have full Public Liability Insurance up to the value of £5,000,000 which I am able to provide on request.
